Lincoln
Lincoln has a distinctly medieval layout, with an impressive cathedral at its centre and a fairly well preserved castle, the narrows streets can be difficult to navigate in a rented limo. Lincoln Cathedral is considered to be one of the best examples of a Gothic style cathedral in Europe. Until 1549 it was recognised as being the tallest building in the world, until a storm destroyed the topmost section of the spire. Lincoln Cathedral makes a great day out for the whole family. Following just behind the cathedral as the top tourist attraction in Lincoln is Lincoln Castle. The castle was originally commissioned by William the Conqueror and is the site which houses the original copy of the Magna Carta, a truly important piece of English heritage that should not be missed by visitors to Lincoln.

Connecting the modern outer parts of the city centre to the cathedral at the top of the hill is Steep Hill, a charming old cobbled street lined with specialist shops, art galleries and boutique stores. Scattered all over Lincoln are Roman ruins, many of which have been excavated and turned into static exhibits. Although Lincoln is a very historic city, it does have its share of trendy nightlife. Ask your rented limo driver to take you to bars such as The Vine Inn and The Tower attract a young and vibrant crowd. Scream is arguably the premier night spot in Lincoln, a combination of pub, and club spilt into several levels. Well priced and lively.

Lincoln has direct rail connections to Newark and Grimsby, which offer links to the east coast line and London. The train station is the best place to pick up your hired limo.
