MAN CHARGED WITH LIMOUSINE INCIDENT
A 22 year old man is now facing charges after a stretched limousine crashed through a crowd at a downtown nightclub and sent nine people to a near by hospital. Celebrities had been spilling out of the nightclub at around 2:30am when the limo (owned by Gold Limousine) had driven over the curb and into the crowd.
The incident had begun when a man had had a fight with another person near to the club at the Esso petrol station, the man then left the station. Being upset and he drew attention of nearby pedestrians, the driver saw a man waving a traffic cone as he had approached the limousine in a threatening manner. Fearing for his own safety the chauffeur had tried to leave the scene, however the limousines wheels had been facing the curb and when he had accelerated the vehicle mounted the curb and plowed into the crown.
Nine people outside the club were injured and transported to the nearest hospital with cuts and bruises, they were released between five and six hours later. The stretched limo had stopped about half a block away, the chauffeur got out and gave first aid to the injured people until the police and medical crews had arrived. The man who police allege brandished the cone fled on foot and was arrested later on in the early morning hours. Kyle Allan Wugalter was then charged with mischief under $5,000 and resisting arrest. However police are considering charging the limousine chauffeur.
