 Avalon police department had a hint from a friend that a limousine driver was handing out illegal drugs to his clients. The police have announced that he was arrested for this, and having beer along side of his driving seat in his stretched limousine during the Memorial Day weekend. One Avalon Patrolman Sean McNair and Patrolman John Roscoe were on their normal routine on Sunday May 30^th. McNair had conducted a motor vehicle stop on a 14 passenger limousine operated by a 54 year old man.  

Throughout the investigation, McNair had discovered a pipe containing a small amount of marijuana inside the vehicle, a bag of cocaine and some pills in the glove compartment. From this the limousine was towed back to the police department and a search warrant was executed. From the search the police had found not only drugs within the vehicle but also a large amount of beer cans on the floorboard and along side of his seat. Mr. Darling was charged with the possession of many controlled dangerous substances and with driving under the influence. He was processed at the police department following the motor vehicle stop.

A bunch of seven teenagers dream prom night is back on after a limousine company had gone bust. The year 11 students from Greendown high school had thought that their night was going to be ruined when the limousine company they had booked with fell through. Alison Millin aged 48 whose daughter Faye (16) is one of the relieved parents quoted ‘I think its very good of them to come forward, the kids would now actually have a nice start to the evening, they are over the moon and really excited’

The groups of teens who were involved were Gemma Warren, Amy Sharpe, Iona Garnett, Bethany Beynon, Hannah Spencer, Matt Goode and Faye Millin, they all have spent months planning out their perfect end to their high school lives and booked well in advance with the travel. However, soon after they had found out for themselves that the owner of Must Afa Limo had sold his limousine due to the poor trading conditions recently. Mrs Millin said ‘they were all upset, we were left with having to arrange the whole night again when the girls needed to be concentrating on their upcoming exams. They are sensible and realized that there are more important things in the world, however wanted a big night leaving school and saying goodbye to all their friends’. However after frantically ringing every limousine firm they could, the group had some lucky to come across one who could fit them in. With this, the limousine firm said that they could not do the whole job, but offered them a trip free of charge to the prom venue. All the teens had an exciting night and said goodbye in the right way.

Just a quick note to say what wonderful service your team provided for my daughters prom night. They loved the Limo ride, and the chauffeur was a lovely guy, he chatted with all the students and guest’s and it was lovely that he was in no hurry for the parents to finish taking the photos there was a lot of photos. A stretched limousine driver had to call a cab chase after his 4X4 limousine was stolen in Jersey. The limousine thief Mario Cruz, 20 was then arrested after he had hit a police car and then charged with aggravated assault to an officer. The police had receiver a phone call at 4:21 am from the chauffeur who was following his stolen limousine in a cab after the limousine was swiped from in front of him.

The employee from the limousine company provided the police with new updates of his location and a patrol car had intercepted the stolen limousine. However instead of pulling over and stopping, Mario tried to ram the police of the roads before continuing into Washington. He reached Washington and then had crashed into a lamp post, but again continued to crash into the building, however from this the building was not damaged but police pulled behind the vehicle and he had reversed and hit the patrol cars. After Mario was arrested, he complained of an injury to his wrist and a cut to his ear. At the hospital he had told the police he’d been drinking, and took a blood test, if the tests therefore come back positive, he will be charged with driving while intoxicated.
