LIMO LAW BEING PUSHED
LIMO LAW BEING PUSHED
Within the limousine hiring industry and limousine selling industry getting more and more popular, from the 1st October this year the limousine laws including SVA, IVA, & COIF certifications are being pushed forward. Limousines are being pulled over by police, checked, and if they do not have the right certification for the vehicle, they are towed away, the passengers left, and the vehicle being crushed.
For the limousine operators that follow these set rules, it was unfair that others were going against the laws and regulations and carrying more than what they were allowed to, from this the legal limousine operators had no chance in the competition. Limo Hire is a website based company in which helps clients find the legal limousine companies around the country. Limo Hire quote,
‘COIF modification by Manchester-based Pinnacle Engineering is available to companies whose Hummer-Type limousine do not currently conform to COIF standards. SVA and IVA certified stretch Chrysler 300c stretch limousine, Lincoln Town Car and Dodge Charger Limousines can be purchased for hire and reward companies such as 1st4limosales’.
‘Due to VOSA’s recent policy statements and associated publicity, it is becoming very clear a significant number of limousine operations have been running without any form of licensing and operating vehicles which do not conform to the required certification levels’.
‘Remember this: The current laws have always been there. All that is changed are VOSA’s powers to seize, impound, prosecute, and in some cases crush the vehicles operated by people or companies who do not operate with the law the days of simply paying a £200 fee to get your impounded limo back the next day are OVER’.
